Bridesmaids dresses. We all have them, stuck somewhere in the back of our closets. Remember how brides assured us we would wear them again and again? But we never did? Just like Jane (Katherine Heigl, right) in that so-true and entertaining 27 Dresses movie?
Well, here's a solution, dreamed up by Central Florida wedding planners Susan Southerland and Lisa Konecny and wardrobe consultant Kristy Chenell. They've come together to launch Just 'Cause, a non-profit organization designed to collect new and gently-worn bridesmaids dresses (and other formals), then donate them to girls in need of dresses for homecoming, prom, etc. The trio also will also involve seamstresses, designers and stylists to help fit and alter the dresses for the girls.
